The construction of the Brotherhood Boat constitutes an asset for the economic development of the Nantes area, not only in touristic terms, but also by the employment generated by the integration building sites and the training of the know-how of the 18th century naval technique. In addition within the teaching Village, beyond the creation of a Spices Museum, products resulting from the equitable trade, as well as exotic products such as cocoa, vanilla, and cotton will be exposed … and as such many other symbols among the triangular trade.
