How will the Brotherhood Boat come about?
The Brotherhood Boat is an educational concept that, like the slave trade, is composed of 3 main steps:
- Step 1: The Building Site
For companies, professional training, apprenticeships, etc.
The ship will be built over a period of 5 years and will require more than twenty different building trades… For the local economy and the public at large, it will be a larger-than-life educational tool and tourist attraction.
- Step 2: The Brotherhood Village
For elementary schools, junior high, high schools, and universities, as well as the nonprofit sector, neighborhoods, towns, cities, and territories…
It will facilitate the exploration of individual and collective memories and provide an outlet for thoughts on openness toward others, tolerance, respect, etc. It will also provide a venue for developing projects on modern slavery and discrimination.
- Step 3: The Brotherhood Journey
To discuss and promote better understanding of the slavery issue and other insults to human dignity...
To make history and culture more accessible…
To take history to places where books cannot be read or seen…
To tdiscuss common projects and asserting commitments based on humanitarianism and solidarity!
